You can find us at 144, M.G. Road. It’s a well-known address in a very busy part of town. We’ve been here for quite some time now, watching the city change around us. Madura Coats is a name that most people in the textile world recognize, but here at this office, we are just a bunch of people working with thread and fabric. The building is old but sturdy. We don't have those modern glass walls you see in the new parts of the city. We prefer it this way. It feels more real. Every day is about managing supplies and making sure the production side of things has what it needs. We deal with a lot of different threads, and sometimes the variety is a bit overwhelming. The traffic on M.G. Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to wrap up a bit early or stay late to miss the worst of it. We have a small canteen where we all sit and talk about things other than work. It keeps the atmosphere friendly. We aren't into those big motivational posters or corporate speeches. We just know what needs to be done and we do it. If a machine breaks down or a shipment is late, we just figure it out. It’s been our way for a long time. M.G. Road is our home, and we like the rhythm of it.
