Madras Cements Ltd

Our office is tucked away at No: 94 on 2nd Cross in Munikalappa Garden. It's right off Kammanahalli Main Road here in Bangalore. If you've been around 560 033, you've probably passed by us without even noticing. We don't have any bright neon signs or anything like that. It’s just a plain front with Madras Cements Ltd on a small board. I spend most of my mornings checking the inventory and making sure the guys know which deliveries are going out first. The traffic on the main road can be a real nightmare during peak hours, so we try to get our movement done early. It’s a small team here, just a handful of us making sure everything runs okay. We’ve got a little kitchen area where we make coffee, and that's usually where the best conversations happen. It isn't a high-pressure corporate environment. We just do what needs to be done. Sometimes we get a bit behind on the filing, but we catch up eventually. The building is old but it stays cool enough in the summer. We know the local shopkeepers and they know us. It feels like a small village inside the big city. No one here is trying to be a big shot. We are just working people trying to do a decent job every day of the week. It is a simple life and we are happy with it.
