We are set up over at No. 35 on 21st Cross, right on Buchappa Road. If you know the area, we are just behind the Rama Temple in Eijipura. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze for the bigger trucks sometimes, but we make it work. Living and working around Vivekanagar Post in Bengaluru means you get used to the noise and the traffic. The office is just a simple room with a few desks and a lot of paper stacks. We’ve been here at Madras Cements Ltd for a while, just handling the day-to-day things. Usually, I'm the one answering the door when people stop by to ask about their orders. It gets quite busy in the afternoons when the sun is out. We don't do anything fancy with the place, it's just a regular workspace for regular people. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait around, but we usually just use that time to tidy up the back. There’s a small shop nearby where we grab lunch most days. It’s funny how you get to know every crack in the pavement after walking the same route for years. We aren't here to give sales pitches. We just distribute the bags and keep the books straight. It’s an okay way to spend the day. Most of the staff live just a few streets away, so we are all neighbors really. We just keep our heads down and work.
