Macro Precision Components

Our workshop is located in the C.M. Mohan Building on Tumkur Road. Being in Yeshwanthpur means there is always the constant sound of heavy trucks and trains nearby. We are at 46/1, and it is a solid, old building that has seen a lot over the years. The concrete floors are stained with oil, and there is that distinct smell of cut metal everywhere you turn. That is just the way we like it because it means work is getting done. We have got some heavy machines that have been running for a very long time. They need a lot of maintenance to stay smooth, but they make parts better than some of the newer stuff we have seen. We spend a lot of time measuring things with calipers and making sure the cuts are exactly right. If something is off by even a tiny bit, we usually have to start the whole piece over, which is frustrating but it happens. The guys on the shop floor have been doing this for a long time. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep the mood lively. Sometimes it is hard to hear each other over the sound of the grinding wheels. We do not have a receptionist, so if you come by, you usually have to wait a minute for someone to notice you. We just focus on the metal and the machines. Our hands are usually dirty by the end.
