Maarc Tape Industries

Maarc Tape Industries is situated at 63/3, Viratnagar, right on the Chikkanahalli Road in Bommanahalli. If you come by, you will notice the smell of adhesive as soon as you get near the gate. We have these big machines that spin all day long, winding tape onto different sized rolls. The sound is quite loud so you have to shout a bit if you want to be heard over the noise of the motors. The floor is often a bit sticky because of the materials we use but we try to keep it as clean as possible. We have workers who spend their whole shift just watching the rollers to make sure everything stays aligned. It is a very repetitive job but someone has to do it right. Viratnagar is a busy spot with lots of small factories like ours so there is always a lot of movement on the road. We get a lot of trucks stopping by to pick up crates of tape for the local shops and bigger companies. Our office is just a tiny room with a couple of chairs and a phone that rings more than it should. We do not have any big speeches or fancy ideas about what we do. We just make tape and try to get the orders out on time every single day. It is just a regular factory job and we are all just trying to make a living.
