M V Centre For Diabetes is at No.570 & 571, 1st Floor, Sarjapur Road. We sit in the 3rd Block near St Johns Hospital. It is a busy spot in Koramangala. Every morning we open up and start the day checking blood sugar for the people who come in. The traffic on Sarjapur Road is usually quite heavy, so it takes people a while to get here. Once they are inside the building and come up to the 1st floor, it’s a bit calmer. We spend a lot of time talking about diets and medicine. It is not a fancy place with high-end decor. We just have the chairs, some desks, and the equipment we need for testing. Many of our patients have been coming to us for years. We know their names and their families by now. It feels more like a community spot than a big medical center. We don't do much advertising. People just find us because we are near the big hospital or through word of mouth. The records are mostly on paper and computers, and there is always a lot of filing to do. We just try to keep things simple for everyone. Living with diabetes is hard enough, so we don't want to make the clinic visit any more complicated. It is just us here, working through the daily list of appointments and helping folks manage their health.
