M Rajashekaran & Co is right on the ground floor of the Sai Geethanjali building. If you find yourself on Navrojee Lane in Mathikere, we are at number 67. Being on the ground floor is handy because people don't have to climb stairs to find us. The light isn't great in the back room, so we keep the lamps on all day. It’s a pretty basic setup. We have our desks, some old filing cabinets that squeak when you open them, and a water cooler that’s always nearly empty. We handle a lot of different things here, mostly focusing on the documents our clients bring in. The traffic on Navrojee Lane can be a bit of a nightmare during peak hours, so we often hear horns honking while we work. It’s just the way things are in this part of town. We don't have a receptionist in a suit or anything like that. You just walk in and one of us will look up from what we’re doing. We’ve been in Mathikere for a long time, so we know most of the shopkeepers around here. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a deadline, and the whole place smells like coffee and old paper. It’s a practical office for practical work. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just focus on getting through the stack of folders sitting on the corner of the desk.
