Our office, M R B Rao & Co, is located at 60/A in Rajajinagar. It’s right across from the kerosene bunk, which is an easy landmark for anyone trying to find us. We’ve been operating out of this building for quite some time now. It’s a typical local office space. We handle a variety of client matters, mostly dealing with numbers and paperwork. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s necessary, and we take it seriously. The office has old wooden desks and lots of paper everywhere. We tried getting more digital, but some things just work better on paper. Rajajinagar is a nice area, though traffic can be a pain during peak hours. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we work. It keeps the atmosphere relaxed. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us who’ve known each other for years. We know our regulars by name and they know us. Sometimes we sit and have tea with them while discussing their files. There’s no pressure here. We just do what needs to be done and try to be helpful. If you’re coming by, parking can be a bit tricky right in front, so you might have to look around the corner. We’re usually here Monday through Saturday. It’s a steady life and we’re happy with how things are. We don't need fancy titles to do our jobs properly.
