M N Achha & Co

Our place is in the T V Complex on Bvk Iyengar Road. We are on the second floor at No.213. Bvk Iyengar Road is one of the busiest spots in Bangalore, especially with all the electrical shops and wholesalers. Being near Abhinay Theatre means there are always people around, even late in the day. M N Achha & Co is right in the middle of all that chaos. The office is a bit of a climb up the stairs, but once you are inside, it’s our own little space. We have desks cluttered with calculators, pens, and stacks of ledger books. It’s an old-school way of working, but it’s what we know. The noise from the street is constant, with horns and people calling out, but we’ve learned to tune it out over the years. We spend the day going through figures and making sure everything adds up. It can get quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open even if it’s noisy. We don't have any fancy air conditioning or sleek furniture. It's just functional. Most of the people working here have been around for a long time, so we have a routine that we stick to. We take turns getting coffee from the stall downstairs. It’s a lot of hard work, but being in such a central location keeps us connected to everything going on in the city. We finish up when the shops start closing and the crowd thins out.
