M L & Company is tucked away in Office No. 106/7 inside the Rajalakshmi Complex. We are really close to the Bvk Iyengar Road Metro Station, which is great because it makes getting to work a lot easier for everyone. Being in Mamulpet means we are right in the thick of the wholesale market. It is always loud and there are carts and people moving everywhere outside on Bvk Iyengar Road. The office is up a flight of stairs and it’s usually stacked with boxes and ledgers. We don't have a lot of extra space, but we make it work. It’s a bit of an old-school atmosphere here. We still use a lot of paper and have big physical files for everything. The Rajalakshmi Complex is an older building, so it has that specific smell of old concrete and paper. We’ve got a small window that looks out onto the street, and sometimes it’s nice to just watch the chaos below for a minute. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate values posted on the walls. We just try to get the orders sorted and the deliveries sent out before the market closes for the day. It’s a busy life in Mamulpet, but we are used to it by now. The metro station being right there is probably the best part of the whole location, especially when it rains.
