Our place is located in Jayanagar, specifically on 9th Main in the 5th Block. It’s a nice enough part of Bangalore with a lot of character. We work on imaging stuff here at Lucid Imaging. It’s a lot of technical work involving cameras and software systems. Most days are spent in front of monitors checking out different setups and making adjustments. The office is pretty functional and simple. We have benches for testing things out and seeing how they perform. It can get a bit cluttered with lenses and cables and different electronic parts lying around on every surface. We’re not really a walk-in retail shop, so it’s usually just the staff here working through various projects. Sometimes we have to stay late when something isn’t working the way it should and we can't figure it out. Jayanagar is a busy area, but our street is actually okay most of the time. There are plenty of trees around, which is nice when you step out for a quick break to clear your head. We’ve been doing this for a few years now. The team is small, and we all know each other’s habits. We don’t do much in terms of advertising or promotion; we just focus on the projects we have on hand. It’s a lot of trial and error sometimes. We use specialized gear that takes up a fair bit of space in the back. It’s a quiet environment for the most part, except for the hum of the computers and the occasional fan noise.
