London School Of Speech

The school is located at number 32 in Gupta Layout, which is just off Annaiah Reddy Road in the Ulsoor area. It is a fairly quiet part of the neighborhood compared to the main market streets, which is nice when you are trying to talk. The building is a standard house that has been used for classes for a while. We have a few rooms set up with tables and chairs where people sit and practice their speaking. It isn't like a big college campus; it is more of a local spot where people from around Bangalore come to spend a few hours. The walls are mostly bare, maybe a few charts here and there to help with the lessons. Outside, there are usually a few bikes parked in the small space by the gate. We spend a lot of the day listening to people read out loud or work on their pronunciation. Sometimes you can hear the birds in the trees outside if the windows are open, which happens often during the cooler months. The Ulsoor lake is not too far away, so there is often a bit of a breeze. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea during breaks. It’s a very practical environment where the focus is just on the work being done. People come in, do their time, and then head back out into the city traffic. It’s a steady, quiet routine for us.
