This LIC office is tucked away at 42 VGNSS Layout in Basaveshwaranagar, Bangalore. It is a nice part of the city, though the traffic on the main roads nearby can be a real headache some days. We are in a residential-style area, so it feels a bit more relaxed than the big offices downtown. The address is 560079, and we have been here for a good amount of time. People from the layout often just walk over when they have a question about their life insurance. The office itself is pretty simple, just some desks, chairs, and a lot of paper. Bangalore has changed a lot, but this corner of Basaveshwaranagar still feels a bit like the old days. We start our day early before it gets too warm. Most of the work is just data entry and talking to folks who come in with their policy documents. We do not have any fancy signs or big marketing. It is just us working through the files and making sure the premiums are recorded right. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit during our break to get some air.
