We are based out of Shimoga, specifically at a place called Kamala Nilaya on 2nd Cross in Vijaya Nagar. Ramya Nagaraj is the one who keeps everything organized here. As land developers and builders, we spend a lot of time looking at plots and checking out how the construction is moving along. Shimoga is a nice place to work, much quieter than the big cities, though it has its own challenges when the rains come. Our office is more like a home office, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than a standard workplace. We deal with a lot of local folks who are looking to build something or buy a bit of land. There’s a lot of walking around sites and measuring things out in the sun. We aren't a huge firm with hundreds of employees; it's just a few of us who know the local area and the land rules around here. Sometimes the paperwork at the local offices takes forever, but we’ve learned to be patient. We like seeing the town grow and being a part of how the new neighborhoods in Vijaya Nagar are taking shape. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, even if it means getting your boots muddy most days. We don't bother with big marketing plans, we just rely on people seeing what we’ve built and coming to talk to us at Kamala Nilaya.
