The 5th Cross in R H B Colony is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to Mahadevapura. We are at number 144, which is a fairly simple building that we’ve used for a long time. It’s mostly just an office and a storage room where we keep everything. There isn't much to look at, just desks, some ledgers, and stacks of product waiting to be moved out. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or writing down notes about what needs to go where. It’s a lot of coordinating between the suppliers and the people buying the stuff. The colony itself is usually quiet during the middle of the day, which makes it easier to focus. We get some sunlight through the front door, which stays open mostly for the breeze. There’s a small tea shop just around the corner where we usually end up at least twice a day. The guys who do the loading and unloading have a tough job, especially when it’s raining, because the road gets a bit muddy. We don't really have a lot of walk-in customers since most of our business happens over the phone or through messages. It’s a practical setup that works for us. We keep track of everything in these big old books because we still like having a paper trail for everything that happens in the shop. It might seem old-fashioned to some, but it works for how we do things here every day.
