San Motors Limited

Our place is right on Whitefield Road, just across from the ITPL buildings. If you know this part of town, you know how the traffic gets around Mahadevapur. We spend a lot of our day looking out at the cars stuck in long lines while we work on engines or deal with different parts. San Motors Limited has been at this spot for some time now. We are quite near the Mahadevapur Post office, which is handy when we need to send out mail. The workshop is not the cleanest place because there is always some oil or dust from the road coming in through the doors. We keep our tools in the back and try to find what we need when a customer walks in. Sometimes it takes us a minute to find the right part because things get piled up when we are busy. It gets pretty loud with all the heavy trucks going by, but you get used to the noise after a few weeks. We mostly just talk about what needs fixing and who is going to take care of it. It is a lot of manual work and checking off lists. We are not really into fancy uniforms or anything like that. We just wear clothes that can get dirty and try to get the jobs done so we can head home. Sometimes the tea stall nearby is the only thing that keeps us going during a long shift.
