Our office is set up out by Devanahalli, not too far from Anneshwara Village. It is mostly about the BIAL projects at this location, so things tend to stay quite busy with the airport being so close by. I handle some of the accounting work, mainly keeping track of the numbers and making sure all the records are where they are supposed to be. It is not exactly a glamorous job, but it is something that needs doing every single day. The whole area has changed quite a bit since the new airport came in. Now there is a lot more traffic on the roads and plenty of dust from all the construction sites around us. We sit in our office and try our best to keep everything organized. Murugan is usually around the place making sure the accounts are straight and nothing is missing. It gets pretty noisy with the planes taking off and the heavy machinery nearby, but you honestly get used to the sound after a week or two. We do not have a big sign or anything fancy on the front. It is just a functional space near the village. We have our regular coffee breaks and often talk about the long commute from the main Bangalore city. It is a tiring drive for many of us. The ECCD side of the business keeps everyone here on their toes. We are not looking for any special attention, just doing the work that is assigned to us.
