Our little office is tucked away on the first floor of building 627. You can find us on 12th B Main in Yelahanka New Town. Being in Bangalore, the traffic can be a real headache, but this part of town isn’t too bad compared to others. We’ve been here for a while now, working as the ECC Division part of the company. The office isn't anything fancy. It's just a bunch of desks and chairs and too many papers piled up on every corner. We come in early, usually around nine, and the first thing we do is put the kettle on. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful when you're carrying things. We try to keep things quiet, but sometimes the noise from the main road gets in. It's a busy spot in Karnataka, but we manage to get our work done. We don't have any big signs or posters telling people what to do. We just focus on the engineering and construction tasks that come across our desks. Some days are slow, and other days we are running around trying to fix things. The ceiling fan makes a little clicking noise that we’ve all just gotten used to. It's a practical place for practical people. If you’re looking for a polished corporate lobby, you won’t find it here. It’s just us doing our daily jobs in a normal office.
