L&T Ecc Divison

Out here in Konnaippatti, things move a bit slower than they do in the big cities. Rajakandhan.V is the one who looks after the L&T ECC Division operations from this location in the Pudukkottai district. We are based in Sempoothi Post, which is a quiet spot surrounded by green fields and a few small houses. It’s a very rural setting, and you can often hear the sounds of the village while we are working on our project reports. The office is just a small room with a couple of desks and a shelf for the ledgers. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just the basics like a computer and a printer that sometimes jams. It gets very warm in the afternoons, so we usually have a break when the sun is at its highest point. We know all the people in the neighborhood, and they often stop by just to say hello or ask how the construction work is going. We handle the local logistics and keep track of the labor for the various sites in the area. It’s an honest, straightforward way of working. There are no corporate perks here, just the satisfaction of getting through the daily list of tasks. We keep our files in order and make sure everything is ready for the next day of work.
