L&T Ecc Division

You can find our branch of the L&T Ecc Division over in Navanagar, specifically at E.W.S-159 on the 7th Cross. This is in Hubli, part of the Dharwad district in Karnataka. The place belongs to Y.S. Hiretanad’s son. It’s a pretty standard residential area, so we blend in quite well with the neighbors. Navanagar is a decent place to be based out of because it’s not as chaotic as the very center of Hubli, but we can still get everywhere we need to go pretty quickly. The office itself is fairly simple. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just the usual files, some old chairs, and a table where we look over the project blueprints. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and checking on site supplies from here. The pin code is 560025, though sometimes people get that mixed up with Bangalore codes. It's definitely Hubli, though. The weather here can be a bit dry, but the office stays relatively cool if we keep the blinds down. We usually have the windows open to let some air in during the afternoons. It’s a working office, not a showroom. We deal with the engineering and construction side of things, so there’s always someone coming in with muddy boots or a stack of invoices. It’s just how it is. We’ve been part of this community for a while, just doing our bit for the regional projects around Dharwad.
