You can find our workplace at Shed M 27 on Kamanahalli Main Road. It’s a bit different from a regular office because we use a shed, which gives us plenty of room for all the tools and gear we need. There’s usually a bit of dirt on the floor and some stray pots in the corner. We spend a lot of our time dealing with outdoor spaces, so the shed is where we plan out the gardens and the stone work. It’s a busy spot right on the main road, and there’s always something happening outside. Inside, we have a couple of desks where we do the drawing and the billing. We keep a lot of catalogs for plants and outdoor tiles on the shelves. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear your best shoes. We’re often coming back from a site with mud on our boots, so the shed works well for us. We don't have a fancy lobby or a coffee machine. We just use a small stove to boil water for tea. Most of the day is spent looking at maps or talking to the guys who do the digging and the planting. We just focus on getting the layouts right and making sure we have enough materials for the next job. It’s practical, hands-on work, and that’s what we do here every day.
