Land Scaping

The sun in Andheri can be pretty rough when you’re out working with plants all day. Our spot is tucked away in Tarun Bharat Society, right over in Chakala. It’s a decent area, though the traffic near Jp Nagar can be a real headache some mornings. We spend a lot of time with dirt under our fingernails and mud on our boots. It’s just what happens when you’re moving soil and arranging greenery for folks. People around the society know us mostly by sight. We aren't a big corporation with fancy uniforms or anything like that. It’s just a few of us who know how to handle a shovel and which plants actually survive the weather here. Sometimes the rains make everything a mess, but you just have to deal with it. We keep our tools in a small space and head out to the sites early to beat the worst of the heat. It’s quiet work, mostly. You see the progress as things grow over the weeks. We don't talk much while we're working, just get the job done and head back home. The neighbors sometimes stop by to ask about their own gardens while we're loading up the van. It’s a simple life, really. Just keeping things green in a place that’s mostly concrete and busy streets. We’ve been in this part of Chakala for a bit and like the vibe of the society here.
