Tangram Studio

Tangram Studio is basically us working out of 4-B4 Ranka Park Apartment. It’s a bit different than your typical office because it’s actually an apartment, so it has that lived-in feel. We have our drafting tables and computers set up in the main room, and sometimes the kitchen table gets taken over by sketches or samples. It’s a quiet place for the most part, which is good when we need to think about a design. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist, so when someone comes by, one of us just gets up and opens the door. It feels more personal that way, honestly. Ranka Park is a nice enough area, and we like being somewhere that feels like a home instead of a cold building. There are plants on the balcony that we sometimes forget to water, and the coffee pot is always running. We spend a lot of time debating over small details that probably nobody else would notice, but that’s just how our minds work. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering emails to cleaning up the scraps after a project is finished. We don't have fancy titles or a dress code. If you show up, you’ll probably find us in jeans, deep in the middle of something. It’s just a honest way to work on things we care about and make sure the clients get what they need without all the corporate talk.
