Lakshmi Nirman (B) Pvt Ltd is based out of Sri Manjunatha Nilaya. It’s a residential-style building in Prashantha Nagar, Bangalore, specifically c/o Dr. M. Rekya Naik. It feels more like a home than a stiff office building, which is actually quite nice for the people working here. We don't have a giant sign or anything like that. Most people who come by know us or have been told how to find the house. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the main city center, which makes it easier to focus on the paperwork and the phone calls we handle all day. There’s a small garden area out front that someone tries to keep tidy, though the weeds usually win. Inside, the rooms have been turned into workspaces with tables and a couple of computers. We usually have a pot of tea going in the small kitchen area. It’s a local business through and through. We deal with people from the surrounding district and manage our projects from these desks. Sometimes the internet is slow, or we have to wait for the mail to arrive at the gate. It’s just a normal, everyday office where we do our bit. We’ve been in this part of Bangalore for a while now and we know the neighbors well. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, though we stay busy enough with the daily routine.
