Our office, Lakshmi Kantha Rao & Co, is situated on the 1st Floor of a building called Samata. It’s on Alur Venkata Rao Road. It is an older part of the city, and you can feel it when you walk down the street. The building has a bit of a history to it, I think. We have been here for a long time, and the rooms are filled with the smell of old paper and ink. It is a very traditional setup. We don't have the latest gadgets or modern furniture. Most of our chairs have been here as long as the company has. We spend our days going through files and writing things down. It is a slow and steady kind of work. Alur Venkata Rao Road can get quite crowded, especially in the mornings. We usually have the windows open to let some air in, even if it brings in the noise from the street. There is no big marketing plan here. We just go by the name Lakshmi Kantha Rao & Co and people know where to find us. It’s a quiet, unremarkable office where we just get things done without any fuss. We take our breaks together and talk about the local news. It’s a comfortable place to work if you don't mind the lack of air conditioning. It’s just how we do things here every day.
