Cer Des

Our place, Cer Des, is located right on Laggere Main Road, specifically at No. 332 Sy 53/2. If you know where the Kalikambha Temple is, we are just right across from it. You can hear the bells ringing from the temple throughout the day, which is actually quite nice when the traffic gets too loud. Rajivgandhinagar is a busy area, so there’s always dust kicked up from the road that settles on our front step. The building isn’t much to look at, just a standard concrete structure with a heavy metal shutter. Inside, we have a few workbenches and some shelves that have been there since we moved in. It’s not a large space, so we have to be careful not to trip over things when we are moving around. We do our work mostly in the daylight that comes through the front door because the bulbs inside are pretty dim. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to chat or complain about the bus schedule. We don’t have a fancy sign, just the name painted near the entrance. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, and the fan we have mostly just moves the warm air around without cooling anything down. We just keep at it, doing whatever needs to be done for the day and closing up once the sun goes down behind the temple. There is always something to clean or a box to move before we leave.
