L L Talreja & Company is situated over at 3 Chickpet Avenue Road Cross. If you are looking for us, we are right behind Hotel Kamat, which is a good landmark because everyone knows where that is. Chickpet is a very narrow place and the roads are always full of people and carts. It is hard to park a vehicle here, so most people just walk from the main road. Our shop is tucked away a bit. We spend most of our time dealing with the daily rush of the Avenue Road area. It is a lot of work keeping up with the inventory in such a small space. The building has been here for years. It is not modern or anything, just a solid place to do business. We open up in the morning and stay until the market starts to wind down in the evening. There is always tea being passed around the neighborhood and people stopping by to talk. We don't really do much advertising or use big signs. Most of our day is spent handling orders and talking to people who walk through the door. It is a bit dusty and loud because of all the construction and traffic nearby, but it is home for us. We just focus on getting things done one day at a time without making a big fuss about it. We have some chairs for customers to sit while we fetch things from the back.
