You can find Sri Lakshmi Furniture & Wood Works right over by the Laggere Bridge. We are specifically on the 5th Cross of 7th Main in J. C. Nagar. It’s easy to spot us because we are right opposite that Canara Bank ATM. Being near the bridge means there is always a lot of noise and dust from the road, but you get used to it after a while. We spend most of our days working with wood, so there is usually sawdust on the floor and the heavy smell of polish in the air. It’s messy work, but it’s what we know how to do. We’ve been in this Cholarapalya area for quite some time now. Our shop isn't some high-end showroom with bright lights and fancy carpets. It’s a workshop where we actually build things. We have a few guys who have been with us for years, and they really know their way around a saw. Sometimes we’re working on a big dining table, other times it’s just repairing a broken chair for a neighbor. We don't have a website or anything like that. If people want something made, they usually just walk in or give us a call on the phone. The 10th Cross on Magadi Main Road is a busy place to be. We try to keep things organized, but when you have stacks of timber and half-finished projects, it’s always a bit of a squeeze. That’s just the nature of this business.
