Preeya Company

Preeya Company is located on the first floor of Ramesh Super Market. It is right there at the Kumbarpet Main Road Cross. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets. The traffic is constant and there is always someone shouting or a horn honking. We like being in the middle of it all though. To get to us, you have to go up a narrow flight of stairs. It’s a bit steep, so you have to watch your step. Once you’re inside, it’s a lot quieter than the street. We have windows that look out over the market. It’s a great place to watch the city move. We deal with all sorts of things here. Our shelves are full of various items we’ve collected over the months. It is a family-run kind of place. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room. You just walk in and talk to whoever is behind the counter. Sometimes we’re drinking tea and we’ll offer you a cup. The market life suits us. We’ve seen many shops come and go, but we stay put at this crossroad. The building is old and the floorboards creak a little, but it has character. We don't need a lot of space to do what we do. We just need to be where the people are. That’s why Kumbarpet is perfect for us. We are just here everyday doing our thing.
