We are based in Bangalore at Dollars Colony, specifically at 7 Shree Shashanka on the 2nd Cross, 1st Main. It’s a quieter part of RMV 2nd Stage compared to the main roads. Our office is a house that we’ve turned into a workspace for our housing and infrastructure projects. It feels more like a home than a business place, which we think is a bit better for the kind of work we do. There are blueprints spread across the dining table and stacks of files in the corners. We spend a lot of time discussing road projects and how to get houses built in different parts of the country. It’s a lot of coordination with engineers and workers who are often far away. Sometimes the internet goes out or the power fluctuates, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else in the city. We aren’t a giant corporation with hundreds of employees. We’re a smaller group that has been together for a while. Most of our day is spent on the phone or in meetings trying to figure out why a shipment is late or how to fix a problem on a site. It’s not always glamorous work, and there is a lot of boring paperwork involved. But we’ve been at it for years and we know the ins and outs of the business. We just try to stay busy and get the work done.
