You can find our Kotak Securities office at number 29 on the 2nd Cross in Bangalore. It’s tucked away in the 560029 area, right in the middle of all the city noise. Bangalore traffic can be pretty bad around here, but once you get inside, it’s all about the stock market. We have several computers running all day showing the latest prices and trends. It’s a place where people come to trade or just to check on how their shares are doing. We aren't in a fancy glass tower; it’s just a normal building on a regular street. The desks are usually covered in papers and notes about different stocks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or helping clients navigate the trading screens. It gets a bit hectic when the market is doing something unexpected. Our staff has been working in this 2nd Cross location for a good bit of time now. We know the regulars and what they usually look for in their investments. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. It’s just a practical work space for people who are serious about their money. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the busy hours when the market is open. If you live or work in this part of Bangalore, you’ve probably walked past our building. We just keep our heads down and handle the trades as they come in each afternoon.
