Our office is at No. 410 on 100 Feet Road in the 4th Block. If you know this area, you know how loud and busy it can get at any time of the day. 100 Feet Road is basically the heart of the commercial district here. We are Essae Teraoka Ltd., and we’ve been in this spot for a long while. We deal with weighing scales and electronic systems, so our space is often cluttered with different models and spare parts. It’s a functional office, not a showroom. We have technicians who are usually out on the field, so the office can feel empty in the mornings and then suddenly get very crowded in the late afternoon when everyone returns. The chairs are a bit worn out, and the air conditioning struggles sometimes when the sun is hitting the front windows, but we get by. We don't have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. It’s a very informal atmosphere where everyone knows what they need to do. We focus on getting the scales calibrated and the software working right for our customers. Being in the 4th Block means there are plenty of places to grab a quick bite, which is probably the best part of working here. We just do our thing and try to keep up with the fast pace of the neighborhood without complaining.
