Ambika Timber Plywood

You can find our place at No. 257 on the 4th Cross in Kasturi Nagar. It is usually a pretty busy street with trucks coming and going at all hours of the day. We deal mostly in timber and plywood, so there is always that strong smell of freshly cut wood in the air which most of us have grown to really like over time. The warehouse area stays pretty full, with big stacks of plywood sheets and timber planks reaching all the way up towards the ceiling. It can be a bit of a maze back there if you don't know your way around the different sections. We aren't the type to care much for fancy decorations; our main focus is just keeping the inventory moving and making sure all the wood is stored in a dry place so it stays good. Sometimes the delivery drivers have a tough time turning their big vehicles around on this narrow cross, but we have gotten used to helping them back out. It is heavy work, lifting and moving those planks all day long, but it keeps us busy and active. We have a small corner with a couple of desks where we sit down to do the paperwork and talk to customers about what they need for their building projects. It is a very straightforward business without any bells and whistles. We don't have a marketing team, just our own hands and the regular customers who visit us.
