Kites Design And Construction is set up in Cambridge Layout at Regents Point. We are on the first floor at Door No.402, right above the Food World. Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir Road is a familiar spot for most folks around here. It is a decent place to work from because everything is close by. If we need a snack or some supplies, we just head downstairs. The building itself is older but it serves us well enough. We have a few rooms where we keep all the design stuff and the samples we show to people. It is not a very formal environment. We usually have the windows open to let some air in, even if it brings in the street noise. Working in Cambridge Layout is good because it still feels like old Bangalore in some parts. We spend our mornings checking emails and our afternoons looking at site photos. There is always a lot of chatter in the office about how to fix a specific problem or where to find a certain material. We don't have any flashy signs inside. It is mostly just shelves filled with books and site boots sitting by the door. We stay busy with the local projects and try to make sure we are not falling behind. It is a practical setup for the kind of work we do every day.
