Kirloskar Toyoda Textile Machinery Pvt.ltd. is based in the Jigani Industrial Area at 41560. It is a large facility because the machines we deal with are quite big and require a lot of space for assembly. The floor is organized into different sections where the various parts of the textile looms are put together. There is a constant hum of activity and the smell of industrial lubricants is everywhere. We have a lot of people working here, and everyone has their specific spot on the line. The commute out to Jigani is long for most of us, so the day starts early. We have large doors at the back where the shipping containers come in to be loaded with the machinery heading out to different factories. We have a canteen where everyone gathers for lunch, which is usually the only time it gets a bit quiet on the floor.
