You can find us at the Kolla Complex, which is a big building on Avenue Road. Our unit is number 538. Avenue Road is always packed with people looking for books or clothes or hardware, and we are right there in the mix. The stairs up to the complex can be a bit steep if you aren't used to them. We spend our days surrounded by stock. It’s a lot of boxes and plastic wraps. We don't really bother with fancy displays because most of the people who come to see us already know what they are looking for. It can get a bit dusty with all the paper and cardboard around, but we try to keep it tidy enough. My brother and I usually handle the customers together. We’ve been in this specific spot for quite a few years now. The light comes in from the front window, but the back of the shop stays pretty dim. We use those old metal shelves that have been here since we moved in. It’s a humble setup, nothing special to look at, but it’s home for us. We start early before the street gets too crowded and usually stay until the sun goes down. There’s always someone coming in with a question or an order, and we just try to find what they need.
