Kestrel Machining Products

We are over in Bommanahalli, tucked away at 15th Cross Channappa Reddy Lay Out in Virat Nager 59/7. Kestrel Machining Products is a place where there’s always a bit of metal dust in the air and the sound of machines running in the background. We spend our time working on different parts, mostly turning things on the lathes or checking dimensions with calipers. It’s not the cleanest job, but we like the process of taking a raw piece of metal and getting it down to the right size. The workshop gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially when all the equipment is running at once. We have a small crew here, and everyone knows their way around the shop floor. Sometimes a machine breaks down or we have to wait for a specific tool to arrive, which slows things down, but we manage to keep things moving. Virat Nager is a bit of an industrial pocket, so there are always trucks moving through the lanes. We keep our tools organized on the wall, though things tend to get messy by the end of a long shift. Usually, we are busy looking at drawings and figuring out the best way to cut a piece without wasting material. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but you have to stay focused to make sure nothing goes wrong with the finished parts. It is a noisy, busy place but it is where we get our work done.
