Metaphor

We have been running things here at Metaphor for a good bit of time now. Our place is at No. 1, right across from Sindi College in the Hebbal Kempapura area. Being so close to the college means we see a lot of students and teachers walking by every single day. It gives the whole street a bit of energy, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing to get to class. Our shop isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside. It’s just a practical space where we handle our daily business and keep our records straight. We don't have a big marketing team or a bunch of polished brochures. Most of what we do is just steady work, day in and day out. We open the doors early and stay until the evening traffic starts to get heavy on the main road. The address gets written twice on some of our old forms for some reason, but we are just in that one spot. Inside, there are desks, some chairs, and a lot of papers that we try to keep organized. Sometimes the fan makes a little noise and the windows get a bit dusty from the road outside, but it’s home to us. We’ve known the people in the neighboring shops for years, and it feels like a real community. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay busy. Nothing more than that really.
