Kausthuba Fine Toolings

Our workshop is located in Viswaneedam Brindavan, specifically on the 4th main and 2nd cross at 571/641. It’s tucked away a bit, but we’ve been here long enough that people know where to find us. We deal with toolings, which means our days are filled with the sound of metal hitting metal and the hum of machines. It’s not a clean environment; there’s always a bit of oil on the floor and metal shavings on the workbenches. We focus on getting things precise, as that’s what fine toolings is all about. We have a small team of guys who really know their way around a lathe and a milling machine. Most of our work comes from other businesses that need specific parts made or repaired. We don't have a fancy reception area or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. Usually, if the phone rings, one of us wipes our hands on a rag and picks it up. The building itself is an older one, but it’s sturdy and serves our purpose well. We spend a lot of time measuring and checking things over and over again to make sure they're right. It’s a quiet neighborhood otherwise, so our machine noises are probably the loudest thing on the block. We enjoy the work, even when it’s hot and the machines are running all day. It’s honest labor and we take some pride in seeing a finished piece of metal look exactly how it’s supposed to be.
