Kasi Structural Consulting Engineers is located on 8th Cross in Ashok Nagar. We are right by the Gangamma Temple in the Banashankari 1st Stage area of Bangalore. Being structural engineers means we spend a lot of our time looking at things like columns, beams, and concrete slabs. It involves a good amount of math and making sure that buildings are actually safe and stable. We don't have a fancy office with big glass walls or expensive furniture. It is just a regular room with a couple of desks and a lot of old technical books on the shelves. We have been doing this type of work for many years now. People usually come to see us when they are worried about a crack they found in a wall or when they are just starting a new construction project. We give our honest opinion based on what we see on the site. It is very practical work. We don't use a lot of big engineering jargon when we are talking to regular homeowners. We just tell them what needs to happen to fix a problem. Banashankari is a nice, older part of town. We like being near the temple because it’s a landmark everyone knows. We aren't trying to become a giant company. We just want to do decent engineering work for the people in our neighborhood. Some days are spent inspecting sites and others are spent at the desk. It’s a balance. We just take it as it comes and try to be helpful to anyone who walks through the door.
