Kashmir Embroideries Hub

You can find us over at 17/18 in the New City Centre building, right across the road from Surya Emporiyam on Kasturba Road. It’s a busy part of the city, and there is always a lot of noise from the cars and buses going by outside. We spend most of our hours here at Kashmir Embroideries Hub just going through the stock and making sure everything is folded and put away properly. The space is a bit tight when we get a lot of stuff in, so we are constantly moving things around to make room. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. We don't really have a big fancy showroom, just this spot in the City Centre where we keep everything. Sometimes we stand out by the front just to get some fresh air and watch the people going into Surya Emporiyam across the street. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other people working in this building. Our day is pretty much the same every time—open up, check the items, and talk to whoever comes through the door. It gets quite bright in here during the morning because of how the windows face the road. We just try to keep things organized and simple without making a big fuss about it. By the time it’s time to go home, the traffic on Kasturba Road is usually at its worst, so we take our time packing up.
