Karthik Netralaya

We have been running Karthik Netralaya at No.89 on 7th Cross for quite a long time now. It is tucked away in NR Colony which is part of Banashankari 1st Stage in Bangalore. Most people who live around here know where we are because we are so close to the Vidyapeetha. If you are coming from the BMS College side, you just head down the road and you’ll see us. The Bull Temple is also right nearby, so there is usually a bit of a crowd on festival days or weekends. The traffic on 7th Cross can be a bit of a headache sometimes, especially when the college students are heading home or when there is an event at the temple. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. This part of Bangalore 560050 has gotten much busier than it used to be. Our building is easy to spot if you are looking for it. We usually keep things pretty simple around here. We open up early and stay until the work is done for the day. Being in this specific pocket of N R Colony means we see a lot of the same faces walking by every morning. It feels like a very traditional part of the city. We don’t have a fancy sign or anything, just the usual boards. It is a practical spot for us to be located in this neighborhood.
