Karnataka Sanitary Stores

Shivaji Nagar is always a crowded place. Our shop, Karnataka Sanitary Stores, is on Dispensary Road at 41518. It stays loud and busy outside from morning until night. We’ve been here a long time, so the walls have seen better days. The shelves are packed with all sorts of bathroom parts, taps, and tiles. It’s a bit cramped inside, and there’s always a bit of dust because of the old building. We spend a lot of time helping people find specific pieces for their old plumbing. It's not the kind of store where everything is polished and shiny. We have stuff piled up in corners. Sometimes we have to dig through the back to find what a customer needs. It’s just how it goes here. Most of the people who come in are local residents or contractors we’ve known for years. We handle things ourselves, so if we’re busy, you might have to wait a bit. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is the highlight of the afternoon. It’s a simple life running a shop in this part of town. We just open up, sell what we have, and go home when the sun sets. The building gets hot in the summer, but we have a fan that helps a bit. It’s just a regular local shop for regular folks.
