Working at Shakti Bhavan is quite an experience. It is a massive building, and being part of Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd means there is always something going on around us. We are located at 82 Bangalore Gpo, specifically in the Electronic City Post area. It is a major hub for everything related to power in this part of the state. Most of us have worked here for many years. You walk through the halls and see the same familiar faces every single day. It is not like a fast-paced tech startup; it feels more like a place where things actually get built and managed for the long haul. We handle a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to power for the region. The office at Shakti Bhavan is usually humming with the sound of computers and people talking on phones. Sometimes the elevators are slow and you have to wait, but you just get used to it after a while. We are not here to make flashy advertisements. Our job is just to make sure the lights stay on and the power flows where it is supposed to go. It is a lot of logistics and technical stuff that most people do not really think about until they need it. Being in Electronic City makes sense for a place like this.
