Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd. (Retd)

Our group is based out of a house in HAL 2nd Stage, number 3357 on 13th Main Road. This area of Bangalore is quite green and quiet compared to the rest of the city. Most of us here are retired from the power corporation. We use this space to stay connected and handle whatever lingering matters or community things come up. It’s not a big industrial site, just a regular building on a leafy street. People who used to work at the plants or the main offices stop by to catch up and talk about the old days. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. We just look after our own and keep track of things related to our time in service. The 13th Main road has changed a lot with new cafes and shops, but our spot stays pretty much the same. It’s a place for old colleagues to gather. We deal with paperwork related to pensions or just general help for the retired folks. It’s simple and low-key. If you’re looking for the main power corp, this isn’t it—this is just for the retired staff members. We value the time we spent working and this place helps us keep those ties strong. It is nice to have a quiet corner in a city that is always moving too fast. We just take it day by day.
