Our company is right in the middle of Kalasipalyam on A M Road, at number 5. If you know this area, you know it’s always moving. There’s a lot of metal here. We have sheets, rods, and all sorts of scrap and new pieces piled up. It’s a loud place because metal hits metal all day long. We wear heavy gloves because everything is sharp or rough. It’s not a job for someone who likes to keep their clothes clean. We deal with all sorts of people, from big contractors to guys looking for a small piece of steel for a gate. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. We just have a desk in the corner where we write out the bills. Most of the time we are out on the floor helping load the trucks. We’ve been at this address for years and the building shows its age, but it’s sturdy. We don't bother with fancy brochures or anything. People know we are here and they know what we have. It’s honest work. We start early when it’s still cool and we finish up when the traffic starts getting really bad. It’s just us, the metal, and the daily grind of the market. We wouldn’t have it any other way. Even on the busiest days, we make sure to double check the weights on the scale before anything leaves.
