We are located on the 4th Floor of the TTMC B Block, which is inside the BMTC Central Offices Building in Shanthinagar. Being right on KH Road means we are in the middle of all the bus traffic and city noise. It’s a big government-style building, so there are always people moving through the corridors. Our office handles the biotech and IT services side of things for the state. It’s a lot of administrative work, coordinating between different groups and making sure the paperwork gets where it needs to go. The 4th floor has a view of the busy street below, which is mostly just buses and cars stuck in traffic. We have rows of desks and plenty of files. It’s not a tech startup with bean bags; it’s a functional space where we manage programs. Lunchtime usually involves heading down to the local canteens around Shanthinagar. The building is quite a landmark, so no one ever gets lost trying to find us. We deal with a lot of data and reports daily. Some days the elevators are slow, and we end up taking the stairs. It’s a steady kind of job in a very busy part of Bangalore. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to keep things organized in the middle of all the city chaos.
