Kapital Terracotas

If you're looking for us, we are over in Banaswadi, right on the 5th Cross of Rammurthy Nagar Main Road. The shop is at 23/24. We deal mostly with terracotta items, which means a lot of clay and natural earthy stuff. It’s quite different from the shiny tile shops you see everywhere else. We have roofing tiles, floor bricks, and some decorative pieces too. Working with terracotta is a bit messy because the clay can be brittle and heavy. We spend a lot of our day stacking these pieces so they don't break. The red color of the clay gets on everything, including our clothes. People like coming here because they want that old-fashioned look for their homes. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that. It’s just a local business trying to supply good material to the people nearby. Sometimes the weather affects how we store things outside. It can be a bit of a squeeze in the yard when a new truck arrives with fresh stock from the kilns. We try to keep things organized, but with so many different shapes and sizes of clay products, it’s a constant task. You can just walk in and see what’s available. Most people find us because they live in the area or they're driving down the main road and see the terracotta stacked up outside. We've been at this a while and know the clay business.
