Working out of the Bommasandra Industrial Area means things are usually pretty loud and a bit dirty. We are situated by the Dholewal Flyover Market at 121A. The flyover casts a big shadow over the area in the afternoon, which actually helps keep the heat down a little bit. We handle various industrial needs and parts here. The shop is more of a warehouse than a store, with heavy shelves and metal bins everywhere. You can hear the heavy trucks thumping over the flyover joints all day. It’s not the kind of place you come for a quiet chat. We wear boots and old clothes because you’re likely to get some grease on you if you stay too long. The market around us is full of other shops doing similar things, so there is always a lot of clanging and shouting going on. We have been at 121A for a long time now. The desk is cluttered with invoices and old catalogs that we still use because we haven't moved everything to a computer yet. It works for us. We know our inventory by heart and can usually find what a customer needs just by looking at the piles. It’s hard work and the hours are long, but that’s just life in the industrial area. We get the job done and don't make a big deal out of it.
