Kanchan Computer Numerical Control

We are located over in Peenya 2nd Stage at the Doddanna Industrial Estate. If you find the 4th Cross, you’ll see our small unit at number 47. It’s not a very pretty building, but it houses our CNC machines. We spend our time writing code and watching the lathes do their thing. It’s a mix of old-school metalwork and slightly newer computer tech. Sometimes the programs glitch and we have to start over, which is frustrating but part of the job. The air always smells like oil and burnt metal. We aren't a massive factory, just a focused shop with a handful of people who know how to read blueprints. Doddanna is a busy area, and there's always someone welding or grinding nearby. Our desks are covered in old drawings and half-eaten biscuits. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings, someone just wipes their hands on a rag and picks it up. It’s a practical way to run things. We make parts for all kinds of people, from big manufacturers to small hobbyists. The machines are old but we keep them well-greased. It’s quiet in the mornings before the rest of the estate wakes up, and that’s when we get the best work done. Then the heat starts and we just push through until evening. It is a steady rhythm that we have followed for many years now.
